Whether we like it or not, we are made up of what we eat. Our facial skin, like the rest of our body systems, is affected by our diet. In recent years, many trends of nutrition have emerged such as veganism, ketogenic diet, and intermittent fasting, when of course, there are opinions here and there. It is precisely this multiplicity of such and such diets that always brings me back to Maimonides, who already some 800 years ago imprinted very clear rules for human benevolent nutrition. Since Maimonides' greatness was in the Holy Bible and health and lifestyle (he was the personal physician of the ruler of Egypt). How unsurprising that the lifestyle he drowned, is perfectly suited to the Mediterranean diet enjoyed by people living in the blue zone areas mainly in Ikea and Sardinia.
My passion for skin and body care and many years of experience have greatly contributed to my understanding that every patient should receive an in-depth diagnosis based on her lifestyle, her habits, her mental state, and the geographical area in which she lives. I have collected for you several foods and supplements, real superfoods, that are good for the body, internal systems, and facial skin. As Maimonides said: Your foods will be your medicines.
Local honey
One of the properties of honey is its healing ability, but this quality is only active if the honey is natural and local.
Heating the honey causes it to lose its good properties since after heating only the sugar in the honey remains.
In fact, it can be said that if the honey is not local, then the healing properties attributed to it have no meaning.
During the preparation of the honey, the bees leave antibodies in it for the benefit of the young things.
Studies show that the antibodies are suitable for local diseases and lose their healing effectiveness in another geographical area.
Sometimes beekeepers add sugar water to hives. Make sure that you buy from hives that do not do so.
Immediately liquid honey should immediately arouse suspicion.
Since local honey contains the pollen from the local flowers, it is more effective in healing based on the rule in homeopathy: the similar will cure.
It is great for balancing the microbiome in the gut and skin.
Bee Pollen A dietary supplement containing male flower pollen collected by working bees with the addition of honey or nectar. The pollen is collected in a hive into a vessel placed under a special entry slot that causes the pollen to break free from the workers' legs and fall. Like honey and propolis, the chemical composition of the pollen also depends on the plants from which the workers collected it and can be different at different times and in different colonies, even in the same hive. Poland has the ability to strengthen the immune system through antioxidants, which are designed to neutralize free radicals. They improve and even inhibit oxidation processes that have already begun.
Most of the antioxidants found in bee pollen are flavonoids, which in addition to being antioxidants, strengthen capillary blood vessels in the body, help the liver and strengthen the bone structure.
A teaspoon of pollen a day mixed with quality probiotic yogurt can do wonders for the microbial balance in the gut and throughout the body.
Almonds
Are known for their good nutritional values, contribute to the decrease in abdominal fat and improve heart function. Very rich in vitamin E which is known, among other things, as a supporter of skin tissue.
Comparative studies have shown a decrease in bad cholesterol (LDL) in the control groups.
Eating almonds have been found to contribute to a feeling of satiety over time, improves heart health, and balances blood sugar levels.
They are rich in monounsaturated fat and vitamin e.
Before eating, soak the almonds in water and peel them.
Mulberry
Extremely rich in nutritional values: carbohydrates, fiber, protein (strawberry is one of the richest grains in protein). The high levels of fiber (mainly pectin and lignin), support a normal digestive system.
Vitamins and minerals: Those found at the most significant levels are vitamin c, iron, vitamin k1 (important for blood clotting and bone health), potassium (important for cardiovascular function), vitamin e (antioxidant).
Antioxidants: Mulberries contain a long list of important antioxidants and pigments:
Anthocyanins - the blue pigments - a family of antioxidants that can inhibit the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, and have a beneficial effect against heart disease.
Chlorogenic acid - An antioxidant common in many fruits.
Routine - a powerful antioxidant that can protect against cancer (colon), heart disease, and diabetes.
Myricetin - a substance that apparently affects certain types of cancer.
It is important not to eat excessive amounts of wood precisely because it is so rich in many active ingredients, which in large quantities put a strain on the body.
Schizandra
The fruit has five flavors.
According to Chinese medicine, the fruit, due to its multiplicity of flavors, is considered to affect all internal organs.
The color of the schizandra fruit is bright red and they grow as clusters on a deciduous climbing plant.
Its origins are in East Asia. In the 1960s, the plant gained official status in institutionalized medicine in the Soviet Union (formerly) as a tonic.
Reduces appetite and fatigue, inhibits aging processes, increases vitality, and improves mental health.
Clinical studies have found that this wonderful adaptogenic plant soothes, soothes, restores, and supports the nervous system, antidepressant, anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory, strengthens the liver, improves blood vessel function, regulates blood pressure, antioxidant, regulates blood sugar levels, promotes regeneration Tissue.
Excellent in detoxification processes.
Homemade glow mask:
1 tablespoon organic local honey

1 tablespoon lemon
6 drops of schizandra extract.
Good health wishes,
