Let's talk about Rosacea…
A phenomenon that manifests itself in redness and pimples on various facial areas and is also called "adult acne".
The clinical manifestation ranges from widespread redness on the face, with dilated blood vessels and a tendency to flushing attacks with or without red pimples that may sometimes be with a purulent head.
Rosacea is typical for women, (and slightly in men) around the age of 40.
It is not harmful or dangerous but is an aesthetic hazard. In a small number of cases, eye irritation, tears and even allergic manifestations such as swelling and thickening in the nose and face area also appear.
The known causes of rosacea are a weak immune system, external factors that can cause acute reactions (such as extreme heat and cold) and also a parasite called demodex mites - a 0.04 mm microscopic parasite whose life cycle is about 14 days.
It lives in the hair follicles and mammary ducts.
It is common in areas where there is a proliferation of mammary glands such as chin, nose, cheeks, eyebrows and lashes.
Western medicine has a variety of solutions to the rosacea phenomenon, such as: antibiotics adapted for parasites, lasers and specific ointments.
But I, of course, will share with you here the holistic view of the phenomenon.
A holistic-oriental observation of the phenomenon reveals that it is a phenomenon that begins with stress, pressure and anxiety and worsens under unsuitable external conditions such as overheating that causes the blood vessels to dilate further.
Anxieties are associated with energetic heat that rises from the abdominal area - the water element in the body, to the head area - the air element.
The phenomenon of rosacea, and especially that it is associated with acne, expresses a process of transition:
Acne - Transition from childhood to adulthood
Rosacea - transition from adulthood to menopause.
The spread of the phenomenon in the last year, confirms the opinion of holistic medicine, as the masks we wore caused the area to heat up in addition to the stress we all experienced.
Based on the assumption of holistic-oriental medicine, that a person is a whole and therefore a person should be treated and not a phenomenon, I will agree here on a number of ways of treatment:
Aromatherapy -
Combine oils such as light sage, palma rose, lavender, tea tree, mint and sandalwood in carrier oils such as evening primrose, aloe vera or shea butter.
The combination of these oils is great for treating the parasite itself, balancing the microbiome in the skin, grounding all the energy from the air element to the earth element and maintaining the moisture of the skin.
To soothe, even emotionally, you can incorporate essential oils in repellent in a burner or scented salts.
Nutrition -
You should eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Avoid milk and its products in order to control the regulation of the sebaceous glands in the skin, avoid meat in order to create a more basic and less acidic environment, avoid hot foods such as: spicy, cinnamon, acidic foods and hot drinks.
Biologique-Recherche products -
Phyto-biological preparations, active, intended for the rosacea phenomenon such as: SERUM ERYTHROS and CREME VERTE ESPOIR A.R.
Also treatment with CRYO-STICKS cold handles which cool the area and contribute significantly to the reduction of the show.
Wishing you all a healthy summer. Inbal
