The technique of massaging the oral cavity using essential oils.

Considered the best healing for the oral cavity. Strengthens the gums, connects the teeth to the gums, and balances the microbiome of the oral cavity.

The oral cavity is actually the visible part of the mucous meerkaty, and it is worth investing your full attention in it.

Oral Cavity Health

All the mucous tissues in the body work as one system. It is of paramount importance to maintain the balance of the microbiome in the oral cavity and the health of the mucous tissue. Maintaining oral hygiene affects the entire body. The digestive system begins in the oral cavity, including the teeth. Saliva, in fact, is full of enzymes produced in the stomach that receive signals from the brain according to the appearance of the food in front of us, (and about the importance of staying and looking at the food in front of us, I will write EE another time). The oral microbiome affects the intestinal microbiome, which affects the brain microbiome.

John Cryan, a professor at the University of Corkin Ireland, imitated the microbiome in the human body (microbiome=trillions of live bacteria in a healthy human body).

He discovered clues that the same bacteria could affect the brain and behavior.

At first, his ideas were not welcomed, but studies continue to discover amazing connections between the microbiome and the brain.

Scientists are discovering evidence that the microbiome has effects on Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, depression, autism, and other disorders (read it on NYT).

As early as 1683, a Dutch scientist, Anthony van Loenhoek, placed a bacterial plaque (plaque), from his teeth under a microscope, and discovered tiny creatures there in constant motion.

In fact, until 2011, searching for a link between the microbiome and behavior was considered insanity.

Rob Knight, a microbiologist at the University of California, San Diego, discovered early clues to these links.

In a feces transplant experiment in mice ("sick" feces was implanted in healthy mice), Knight and his colleagues discovered fundamental behavioral changes, for example, mice without gut bacteria began to isolate and move away from other rodents.

The change was due to an area of the brain, the amygdala, which is related to the processing of social emotions.

In bacteria-free mice, the neurons in the amygdala form special series of proteins and change the bonds they form with other cells.

The effect of the microbiome begins, in fact, even before birth when the mother's microbiome emits molecules that make their way through the birth canal into the fetus's brain.

The mothers transmit bacteria to their babies during childbirth (babies born by C-section were found to have more food allergies and skin problems) and breastfeeding.

Studies have also found a close link between a specific strain of bacteria that causes Parkinson's symptoms in mice (researcher Sarkis Mazmanian, a microbiologist at the California Institute of Technology).

In light of this wonderful information, and knowing that the digestive system begins in the oral cavity when digestive enzymes are secreted in saliva and begin the digestive process, we understand the profound meaning of maintaining oral hygiene, while maintaining a daily microbiome balance in the oral cavity. Ordinary toothpaste and mouthwashes achieve exactly the opposite result; They actually kill the good bacteria along with the bad ones and bring about a negative microbial balance. A bit like antibiotics.

Therefore, I will offer you here a prescription for oil pulling:

Essential oils Juniper, lemon, mint, medicinal sage, cloves, and thyme linoleum maintain the oral cavity. Dilute them in a concentration of 3-10% in olive oil or coconut. After brushing the teeth are applied to the gums and massaged. You can also gargle. The oils are absorbed quickly and create healing on the spot. It is important to spit out the excess into a bag rather than a sink, especially in the winter to keep the plumbing cool from the grease crystallization.

In addition, I'll offer you a recipe for toothpaste:

  • 80 grams of coconut oil

  • 5 grams of olive oil

  • 30 drops of essential oils

  • 50 grams of green clay

  • 3 grams baking soda

  • 25 grams of xylitol

  • 2 grams of ginger powder

  • 2 grams of cinnamon

  • 30 grams of hydrosol

As for the facial skin, there is of course a close and unequivocal connection between a balanced microbiome in the body that affects the facial skin and acne outbreaks and other skin problems. In such a situation I would recommend a dietary change (tailored to the patient), specific supplements, and the following preparations:

keep a healthy smile,

yours,

Inbal
